Site map - A site map (or sitemap) is a web page that lists the pages on a web site site, typically organized in hierarchical fashion. This helps visitors, and search engine robots, to find pages on the site.
Sequence-tagged site - A sequence-tagged site (or STS) is a short (200 to 500 base pairs) DNA sequence that has a single occurrence in a genome and whose location and base sequence are known it is detectable by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), STSs are useful for localizing and orienting the mapping and sequence data reported from many different laboratories and serve as landmarks on the developing physical map of a genome. Expressed sequence tags (ESTs) are STSs derived from cDNAs.
Cell site - A cell site is a site where a wireless antenna and network communications equipment are placed to create the network cells for the use of mobile phones. A cell site is comprised of an antenna (electronics) tower, transmitter/receiver, transmission radios and radio controllers.
